Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-11-01. This policy covers the website and every app, game and tool published by RushHamster.

In short

  • We are a one-person studio with no reason to collect or sell your personal data.
  • Game progress and settings are stored only on your device or in your browser.
  • There are no accounts, and we never ask for your name, email or location.
  • Some games show Google AdMob ads, which means Google processes the advertising ID. Products with ads are marked in the list below.
  • Some games offer in-app purchases handled by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
  • This website uses no cookies and no analytics.

1. Who and what this covers

The data controller is RushHamster ("we"). This policy covers the website (https://rushhamster.com) and every app, game and tool we publish on Google Play, itch.io or any other store. Product-specific details are listed under "Per product".

2. Per product

What each product stores and which third-party services it uses. New products are added here as they are released.

School Shmup (working title)

  • Progress and settings are stored only on your device and never sent to a server.
  • There is no account, and no name, email or other personal details are requested.
  • Google AdMob ads are included. To serve ads and prevent fraud, Google processes device information such as the advertising ID. Users in the EEA and UK are asked for ad-personalisation consent on first launch, and can change it any time from the settings screen.
  • In-app purchases are available. Payment is handled by Google Play; we never receive card numbers or other payment details. Only the fact of a purchase is stored on the device.
  • No analytics or usage-tracking tools are used.
  • Ads are limited to rewarded ads you choose to watch and interstitials between runs; none appear during play. The remove-ads purchase disables interstitials.

Another World

  • Progress and settings stay in your browser storage and are never sent to a server.
  • There is no account, and no name, email or other personal details are requested.
  • There are no ads.

  • The web version runs on itch.io; progress is stored only in your browser.

Dungeon Lord (working title)

  • Progress and settings stay in your browser storage and are never sent to a server.
  • There is no account, and no name, email or other personal details are requested.
  • There are no ads.
  • No analytics or usage-tracking tools are used.

3. This website

  • No cookies, logins, comments or analytics scripts.
  • The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process connection data such as IP addresses for a short time to operate and secure the service. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
  • If you email us, we keep your message and address only as long as needed to reply, then delete them.

4. Ads (Google AdMob)

Products with ads use Google AdMob. To serve ads and prevent fraud, AdMob processes the advertising ID, device type, coarse location (country level) and app usage. Google handles this under its own policies; we do not receive it in any form that identifies you.

  • Google privacy policy
  • How Google uses data from partner sites and apps
  • Users in the EEA and UK are asked for ad-personalisation consent on first launch via Google's consent platform (UMP). You can change it any time under "Privacy options" in the settings screen.
  • Declining personalised ads does not limit the game; you simply see non-personalised ads.
  • You can reset or delete your advertising ID under Android Settings > Google > Ads.

5. In-app purchases

Products with purchases use Google Play Billing. Payment details such as card numbers are handled by Google and never reach us. Only which items you own is recorded, in your Google Play account and on the device, so purchases can be restored. Refunds follow the Google Play refund policy.

Web versions and itch.io

Games that run in the browser are hosted on itch.io. The games themselves send nothing, but visiting the itch.io page, commenting, or using an itch.io account is governed by the itch.io privacy policy. Progress lives in your browser's local storage and is removed when you clear browser data.

Children

Our products are made for people aged 13 and over, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us below and we will delete it.

Retention and deletion

  • Data stored on your device or in your browser is under your control. Uninstalling the app or clearing browser data removes it.
  • We hold no user data on servers. The only thing we could delete on request is an email conversation, and we will.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your data. Since we hold almost nothing, the answer will usually be "there is none", but ask and we will check and reply.

Changes

When this policy changes we update the effective date above, and mention significant changes on the news page. Any product that adds ads, purchases or similar features gets this page updated before the release.
